A play of fate often disguise itself as something mundane. Their first chat started strictly professional, with Matthew’s contact saved as ‘Nasabah Matthew’ at Michelle’s phone. They agreed to have a meeting in the upcoming week.

However, Matthew showed up an hour late! Michelle was secretly infuriated, until he walked in looking a tad bit more dashing than she expected (it must be the white polo and flip flops combo). Like the gentleman he is, Matthew took the liberty to try and reach out again to Michelle. And oh boy did he try (and failed) twice. His first attempt was to ask about pricing and ended up talking to Michelle’s dad instead.

Afterwards, Matthew went a bit more creative and asked Michelle about orphanages that requires donations—where he sneakily gave her his private phone number.
Good deeds are always rewarded. Matthew succeeded. Before we know it, they were chatting back and forth until 2 AM about work, life, and of course, marriage.

As fate would have it, they met again. This time over sushi, with friends. They opened up to each other, exchanging stories of the past and hopes of the future. Michelle saw Matthew’s intention of what’s to come and she met him halfway.

Soon, Matthew squatted down (refused to kneel) with a bouquet of blue roses. Written in the card,
